What would you like to eat madam?
Neenga enna saapda virumburinga madam?
நீங்க என்ன சாப்பிட விரும்புறீங்க மேடம்?

Lady:
A couple of cheese sandwiches, please
Rendu cheese sandwiches konduvaanga
ரெண்டு சீஸ் சான்விச் கொண்டுவாங்க

Waiter:
Anything else?
Vera ethavathu?
வேற எதாவது?

Lady:
How much is an ice-cream?
Oru ice-cream evlo?
ஒரு ஐஸ்-கிரீம் எவ்ளோ?

Waiter:
Well, what sort of ice-cream do you want?
Entha mathiriyaana ice-cream ungalukku venum?
எந்த மாதிரியான ஐஸ்-கிரீம் உங்களுக்கு வேணும்?

Lady:
A choco ice-cream
Oru choco ice-cream
ஒரு சாக்கோ ஐஸ்-கிரீம்

Waiter:
That one is twenty rupees
Adhu irubathu rubai
அது இருபது ரூபாய்

Lady:
I’ll have one, please
Enakku athu onnu venum
எனக்கு அது ஒன்னு வேணும்

Waiter:
Here you are
Indhaanga
இந்தாங்க

Lady:
Thanks
Nandri
நன்றி

Waiter:
Would you like to order anything else?
Vera ethachum order seiyya virumburingala?
வேற ஏதாச்சும் ஆர்டர் செய்ய விரும்புறீங்களா?

Lady:
No thanks, please just get me the bill
