Customer:
Hello, Are you the hotel manager? I want to book a room.
Vanakkam, Neenga hotel manager’a? Enakku oru room book pannanum.
வணக்கம், நீங்க ஹோட்டல் மேனேஜரா? எனக்கு ஒரு ரூம் புக் பண்ணனும்.

Hotel Manager:
What kind of room do you want, sir? Single or double?.
Ungalukku entha mathiriyana room venum sir? Single’a illa Double’a?
உங்களுக்கு எந்த மாதிரியான ரூம் வேணும் சார்? சிங்களா இல்ல டபுளா?

Customer:
I need a single room for now. My family is coming tomorrow. I need a family room then.
Enakku ippa oru single room venum. Ennoda family nalaiki varraanga. Apo enakku oru family room venum.
எனக்கு இப்ப ஒரு சிங்கள் ரூம் வேணும். என்னோட பேமிலி நாளைக்கி வர்றாங்க. அப்போ எனக்கு ஒரு பேமிலி ரூம் வேணும்.

Hotel Manager:
Sure, sir, we will arrange the rooms for you.
Nichayam sir, ungalukku rooms naanga erpaadu senju tharrom.
நிச்சயம் சார், உங்களுக்கு ரூம்ஸ் நாங்க ஏற்பாடு செஞ்சு தர்றோம்.

Customer:
What is the rent for the rooms?
Rooms’ku vadagai evlo?
ரூம்ஸ்’கு வாடகை எவ்ளோ?

Hotel Manager:
Rent for a single room is Rs.500 and for the family room is Rs.1000.
Single room vadagai Rs.500 aparam family room Rs.1000
சிங்கள் ரூம் வாடகை ரூ.500 அப்பறம் பேமிலி ரூம் ரூ.5000

Hotel Manager:
How many days will you stay here, sir?
Neenga ethana naal inga thanguvinga sir?
நீங்க எத்தனை நாள் இங்க தங்குவிங்க சார்?

Customer:
I shall stay for a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 5 days.

Customer:
Is food available at your hotel?

Hotel Manager:
Yes, sir, but only non-veg food is available.
Ama, sir, aana non-veg food mattum than irukku
ஆமா, சார், ஆனா நான்-வெஜ் சாப்பாடு மட்டும் தான் இருக்கு

Customer:
That’s okay. If anybody comes to meet, please send them to the room.

பரவாயில்ல. யாரவது என்னை பாக்க வந்த, என்னோட ரூம்க்கு அனுப்புங்க

Hotel Manager:
Sure sir. Here is your key. Have a nice day.
